Can we hire a loan originator (in Florida) that currently has an active Florida Mortgage Broker License who recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy (they have a clean background)? I know they must notify the Florida Office of Financial Regulation of their filing, but we cannot find any info on whether their filing will result in their being unable to originate loans in Florida.
